Release of monthly and weekly FS data from Finland, Iceland and Faroe Islands
EUMOFA has extended its first sale dataset, which now includes monthly and weekly data from Finland and monthly data from Iceland and Faroe Islands
EUMOFA is pleased to announce the extension of its first sale dataset, which now includes monthly and weekly data of recorded species in Finland and monthly data of recorded species in Iceland and Faroe Islands, broken down by presentation, preservation state, location and size.
The extension was made possible thanks to the establishment of a regular data transmission flow with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland (Department of Natural Resources), with Statistics Iceland (“Hagstofa Íslands”) and Statistics Faroe Islands (“Hagstova Føroya”).
As with all data published and disseminated by EUMOFA, figures have been subject to in-depth completeness and accurate quality checks.
With the availability of first sale data for 19 EU Member States and European countries (including Norway and United Kingdom), data from Finland, Iceland and Faroe Islands represent a further step to achieve EUMOFA’s purpose of providing the most relevant possible coverage on first sale data.
