The video recording of the EUMOFA Talk “Trends in the Consumption of Fishery and Aquaculture Products in the EU – Present and Future” is now available on the EUMOFA YouTube channel in both English and Spanish.

EUMOFA held the Talk “Trends in the Consumption of Fishery and Aquaculture Products in the EU – Present and Future” on Wednesday, 8 October 2025 at the Platea stage of the Conxemar Exhibition.

The panel included:

The main objective of the Talk was to discover how shifting economic conditions, sustainability targets, and evolving consumer preferences are transforming seafood consumption across Europe. With contributions from the European Commission and EUMOFA, academics and industry stakeholders representatives, this session delved into the strategic challenges facing the sector and explored how to boost its competitiveness in the years ahead.
