EUMOFA Talk at Conxemar 2024 (2 October) - The Crisis Beneath the Surface: Decreased Groundfish Availability in the EU Market

EUMOFA is pleased to invite you to the upcoming workshop “The Crisis Beneath the Surface: Decreased Groundfish Availability in the EU Market”, which will be held on 2 October 2024, from 10:30 to 11:45 CET at Platea 1 Hall, IFEVI, Conxemar in Vigo, Spain.

This workshop focuses on the significant decline in the availability of key groundfish species in the European Union, and its impact on the seafood industry. The debate will also touch on the international context and examine potential solutions to adapt to new challenges. This event aims to provide valuable insights for seafood businesses, policymakers, and environmental advocates attending Conxemar.

There will be a Q&A session and a group discussion.

The panel members will include:

The EUMOFA Team will be also on hand throughout the three-day event at its stand 4-A12 to offer practical demonstrations on how to access data and key information using new dashboards on the European fisheries and aquaculture market available on its website.
