Antennas System meeting 2024
The eighth edition of the EUMOFA Antennas System meeting took place on October 10 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The eighth edition of the EUMOFA Antennas System meeting took place on October 10 in Lisbon, Portugal. This year’s Antennas System meeting gathered 20 participating countries, the highest number since its first edition.
The meeting was organised under the auspices of the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services in Portugal.
The main objectives of the meeting were to:
- present EUMOFA’s latest developments;
- exchange with Member States (MS) on future needs and innovations;
- update MS the status and progresses the revamped EUMOFA website to be released soon;
- exchange with MS the treatment and transmission of confidential first sales data in compliance with the regulatory framework.
After the meeting, the delegates visited the Portuguese Fisheries Control and Surveillance Center (CCVP) and benefited from explanations on the organisation of this service, and paid a visit to the Oceanarium de Lisboa. This meeting was once more an important opportunity for delegates to exchange on good practices and innovative solutions, with the aim to further improve market intelligence services provided to the stakeholders.
